As a native from Huntsville Alabama and a local Real Estate Professional, I can attest that summer evenings in Madison County often come with the sweet sound of music drifting through the air.  We have a large amount of local parks, a new amphitheater, the VBC, and community spaces that host outdoor concerts featuring everything from country and rock to jazz and classical. Bring a blanket, pack a picnic, and enjoy an evening of entertainment in the open air. Locations like the Orion Amphitheater and Big Spring Park are popular spots where locals gather to listen, dance, and connect. No doubt about it!

 

FARMERS MARKETS FULL OF FRESHNESS

The farmers markets in Madison County are bustling hubs of color and flavor during the summer. Vendors showcase locally grown fruits and vegetables, artisanal cheeses, baked goods, and handmade crafts. Whether you’re stocking up on ingredients for a weekend barbecue or simply strolling through for the atmosphere, these markets are a feast for the senses.

What are some of the most visited Farmers Markets in Madison County? Well, The Madison City Farmers Market and Greene Street Market in Huntsville are must-visits for fresh finds. However, there are many other local spots where you can find those fresh produces and goodies, the best part? you get to support our local farmers, which we love to do hand to hand of our little ones.

Other great Farmers Markets to visit include:  Ayers Farm Farmers Market Meridian StreetOakwood Farms Market, The Village of Providence Market, the traditional and well known S&J produce farms, MidCity Farmers Market, Athens Farmers Market and a few other jewels around Huntsville metro city.

You have so many to choose from and fresh produce, local honey, fresh baked breads, goat cheese, goat milk, and so many other goodies to find if you are up for some good finds!

You can even go a little towards Guntersville or Smith Lake and enjoy fishing , water sports or camping. These are two of our family’s favorite lakes to visit, and not only in Summer to be honest. Fall is just the prettiest at our lakes.
